Gas Safety Checks
Not sure whether anyone could help me on this. I know it's not about money saving, but a lot of you seem very clued up when it comes to G&E providers, so hopefully someone can help. A bit of background first (it's long I'm afraid) my mum has been threatened with a warrant for entry for her gas provider to carry out a Gas…

New supplier forgot to change my account, now old supplier wants to bill us
Wonder if anyone can advise us...... 8 months ago we switched our gas to supplier A - and left supplier A to tell supplier B that we wanted supplier A to supply our gas. However we have never received a bill for our gas from either supplier A or supplier B. So eventually we rang supplier A to tell them this - and it turns…

Independant Gas Transporters
I have bought a new house, and been living here for over 3 years. All this time, I have been paying Scottish Power an extra 10.96p a day because we have an independant gas transporter to deliver our gas (not Transco). I am currently searching for cheaper gas and electricity, but I'm not sure if the quotes I'm getting…

taking liberties - BG
OH just bought a house, and I enquired by email with BG if our account was with them. That was the last I heard of it. Went to the house today and there was a letter from them saying an account had been set up in my name. I did not even want it in my name, let alone with them! I wanted to go with some one more…

Entered postcode to discover that ukpower showing tariff for london area (which is incorrect ) and energyhelpline shows seeboard(elec). Note seeboard area prices are quite a bit cheaper.

Overcharging
Hi, I am after a little advice, I have come back from uni to find that Lloyds TSB who supply my elderly father's electricity have overcharged him roughly 2,500 pounds over 2005/6. The payments went out on direct debit (he has no idea how much money is in his accounts). The original fault was not theirs, an incorrect…

Gas Consumption: Does it sound right?
Morning All, I've just received my latest Gas bill and was wondering whether my recent consumption sounds right? I worked this out by…
