Costs of Running an Immersion Heater
I have an immersion heater heating a well lagged cylinder which is used to supply a power shower which is used mainly in the morning and occasionally in the early evening. Has anyone switched energy suppliers using uswitch.com? Currently I'm supplied by my local energy supplier who are EDF energy. I am trying to cut my bills so looked at the uswitch site. Does Economy 7 still work? You used to be able to get your electricity for at about 1/3 of the cost at between 12-7am of day time prices if you have an economy 7 meter. It should save a few quid if you put your phones, laptops, and any battery recharging things on to recharge over night.
