Br. Gas Help

I cancelled my contract with Br.Gas for my gas/electricity in favour of another supplier before Xmas.Just received a letter from B.G saying"Thank you for choosing to pay for your gas by D.D as from Jan08"
I went on the phone and after waiting nearly 9 mins. was told by an advisor
to ring back in 2 hours time as the "system was be updated"
Who can I write to ensuring my complaint is read and dealt with

British Gas are useless, think i'm up to my 10th or 11th phone call to solve the same one and only problem. Hardly anybody there has a clue, although the Customer Relations (complaints) department are pretty good, their direct number is 0845 607 0870.

It takes 4-7 weeks to change supplier, so they will still be supplying you.

If you set up a direct debit, it won't be cancelled before the changeover goes through. I assume you must have asked them to set up a dd, so I don't entirely understand what your complaint is.
