Caring for live-in daughter on PIP. How much should she contribute?
One of my daughters has multiple health problems and had to return home to be cared for. After a couple of years we finally applied for benefits and she has now been granted enhanced PIP for 10 years, as well as the full UC payment. Her care does cost a little more than average because she needs special products and…

Pip Tribunal Won
I recently won my pip tribunal, getting standard rate daily living. I understand this is backdated to the date of my claim. I am also on income support, which I believe I am also entitled to a disability premium for? Does anyone know if this also gets backdated to the date of my original pip claim? TIA

Advice on painting the ergonomic grip on my new crutches.
I've purchased my new crutches, the ones you see in the picture. I'm about ready to personalize them by painting the grips and shoulder cuff parts. My question is simply, which type of paint would be best? I just wish to spray them black, no tricks, flames, just black. Primer coats then base coats of black and then seal…

PIP
I'd just like some advice about PIP. I'm 65 and have been on it for six months. I retire in July 2020 (although I retired on health grounds last Aug) and assumed it would stop then and I'd have to apply for Attendance Allowance but somebody told me that PIP would continue. My award said it was ongoing, what does that…

Capita face-to-face home assessment I didn't request
When I received my "how your disability affects you" review form, I knew that a F2F probably wasn't far behind and, lo and behold, yesterday I received a notification from Capita to schedule one. Oddly though, it's been set to take place in my home, which I didn't request. I have mental health issues and physical issues…

Long delay for NHS operation
I’ve read the rules and think i ok with this. I have a close relative who has a severe back problem and cannot work. He had been expecting an operation, but this has been delayed for various reasons, not his fault, and now has fallen foul of Coronavirus. He does not have medical insurance and is considering self pay, which…

Child possibly on spectrum?
Hello, Not sure if this is the correct place to ask and I am only asking to see what others think. My eldest daughter is 9 years old and has always had an issue with food (textures and smells). She used to have issues with noises like hand dryers and being with lots of people overwhelmed her (those two have got better as…

Wheelchair Access Hotel Room...Reasonable Adjustments?
Hi There....I travel quite a bit within the UK with my Adult Son who is Disabled and a Wheelchair User. He has learning difficulties and we need to share a room. We need a room that has twin beds and also a wetroom with wheel in shower not bath. I am finding, more & more, that so many hotels, even if they have an…
