Support from friends
I am a very private person and find it difficult opening up to people about anything, but especially money problems. However, at the start of January this year I had my LBM and since then I have been focused on getting debt-free, which with a lot of hard work and a bit of luck I will be able to achieve within a year. I am…

Cheques due to go to the bank but no money to cover them
I am really worried sick. I have a £200 overdraft, which I live out of. My account is never in the black. Anyway at Christmas things were extremely tight and I foolishly used a place that cashes personal cheques for one month and doesn't bank them for a month. I couldn't afford to pay them all in January so I cashed more…

What is the best way to use a Credit Card? Is the answer DON'T?
I've been asking myself what is the best way to use a Credit Card and even if I should use one. Northern Debt Recovery are having a laugh!
I ported my Orange number to a different network provider. I paid my outstanding bill. Out of the blue Orange sent me a bill for £20.54 which they say is the cost of porting my number. My account was well out of contract and I gave more than adequate notice. I queried the bill and was told it is for 'unspecified charged'.…
