grrr...wanna start debt plan but can't
Hi all, I had my lightbulb moment last month when I realised that I will have less coming in next month than going out when I go back to work following maternity leave. The childcare wipes out most of my wages and we will only be entitled to 'some' help from tax credits due to our income. After some scary sums and working…

1 month since my LBM........
The first month has been ok, cleared £584.17 from my debt, which whilst it is not a huge percentage of my debt, it is going in the right direction. I have found so much unbelievably good advice on this site and my only regret is that I didn't find it sooner! I changed my bank account to a bank I didn't have any debt with,…

R Way reply
I CCA'd Robinson Way; well over a month later I received this reply: "Due to the age of the account we are unable to provide copy documentation. Thie may mean the debt is unenforcable through court, however it does not mean that the debt does not exist. We will report the current status of the account to the credit…

bls cca reply
I sent a CCA request to BLS regarding an old lloyds account I had been paying them for several years. I used a standard template and sent it registered post....then remembered the account was an overdrawn current account so there is no original credit agreement. Anyway, I recieved a reply a few weeks later from Lloyds TSB;…

Marks and Spencer have sent the account they failed to produce the CCA on over to them. However they have given no address and no-one answers the phone. M&S as ever are being less than helpful.

Byron & Keeley
My girlfriend has entered into an arrangement with Bryon & Keeley and is currently paying them near £100 for their "services". Is there any way to cancel the contract with Byron & Keeley as one assumes the neogitation and agreement to pay the creditors at certain levels has already been accepted. Many thanks

Lloyds Planned Overdraft End
Guys, Have a bit of an issue. My "planned overdraft" is coming to an end in a month's time and unfortunately due to circumstances I will not have enough money to pay it off in full. What should I do? I want to ask if they can extend this but am expecting they will say no. However, the letter included said that they would…

I’ve started debt…

Enforcing a County Court Judgement (CCJ)

Sorry, I'm a lurker so I know nobody knows me but I'm so upset and frustrated that I've got to write it down somewhere! Sent it off by email and had a mail back saying they don't…

a BIG thankyou
Just got our mail. There was a letter to our address but with no name on it. Inside was a card from "Roxburghe" saying they had important documents for us. Alarm bells rang. I knew I had read on here about debt collectors doing this to make you ring them. I looked them up on this site and yep-sure enough they`re debt…

What would you do?
I started a diary last night, and having looked into the interest rate on the overdraft, have realised it may be cheaper to get a loan over 2 years at 12%/13% (best I've found is 8% but not sure we'd qualify) to pay off the £3000 overdraft at 19.5%. I really can't decide which is the best option. In theory we can pay off…
