I CCA'd Robinson Way; well over a month later I received this reply:
"Due to the age of the account we are unable to provide copy documentation. Thie may mean the debt is unenforcable through court, however it does not mean that the debt does not exist. We will report the current status of the account to the credit reference agencies where appropriate".
Is this legal and do I have to contact someone like the OFT to remove the amount off my credit file?
Any advice will be welcome.

Is the debt alreadt defaulted?
And yes the debt still exists but they cannot enforce it.
Actually the OFT has told at least two DCas to stop chasign disputed debts.
So report them to the OFT.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
