Anyone heard of Pre Legal Recovery

Marks and Spencer have sent the account they failed to produce the CCA on over to them. However they have given no address and no-one answers the phone. M&S as ever are being less than helpful.

Hi Shed head - M&S are not allowed to sell on a debt that is in dispute - so if they have there is a template letter to send see here - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=11636233&postcount=7A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

I've just had a letter too saying they are sending someone to my home - very worried as i live with my eldery parents and and i'm speaking with M&S about a payment plan. Tried to call PLR and it's just ringing. Can they send someone to my home0 -
Same here too, letter tellling me they are arranging an agent to visit my home. Will be phoning today and continuing with my monthly pro-rata offer."Keep smiling, it'll make everything seem OK - you can have one of mine if you lose yours"0

Hiya, i know this an old thread but i just thought i'd add a bit of info. My Mother is currently being debt managed by the CCCS and has received letters from "pre-legal recovery" who said they were going to "send an agent to the property".
They have also called the house several times.. yet the call comes from a recognised M&S Number.
My Mother contacted CCCS because the letters and calls had really shaken her up. CCCS checked the information on the letter only to find that Pre Legal Recovery is actually a dept of M&S who seem to have adopted the guise of a recovery agent.
The CCCS were not that happy with this practice... and have told my mother NOT to enter into any conversation or correspondence with them as the CCCS are dealing with the debt management.
If you are being debt managed by the CCCS and you are receiving calls or letters from "Pre Legal Recovery" contact the CCCS immediately and tell them.

Get your mother to write to them stating that she does not want anyone to visit. There is a template letter for that somewhere on the board. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
