Paypal - How safe is it?
I've just sold an item on ebay for a reasonable amount of money (about £100). I specified that I would only post to the UK unless I was contacted before the auction ended to establish extra shipping costs. Anyway it was won by a guy from America. The other thing that is a bit unusual is he emailed me directly and didn’t…

Newbie Bankruptcy Questions
First of all, top site, visited many times and am well impressed with the help others give. My questions are about bankruptcy. First of all how long does it take from handing your form and money over to the court to actually being told you are classed bankrupt? And what are the steps that need to be taken. Secondly, does…

Do you think we ever freak Martin out?
I was thinking last night about how much admiration I had for Martin, and how he's like this divine leader of our little DFW cult :A(!!!!), and I was just wondering if we ever freak him out with our unstinting adoration ;) I bet he's always getting waylaid by people confessing their undying devotion to the gospel according…

How to ask council to freeze old council tax?
Until last month, I lived in a rented flat with my boyfriend. Both our names were on the lease. At the time of signing for the lease, we were both employed and could easily afford the rent and council tax (It was a nice flat with stupidly high council tax). Murphy's Law kicked in, and I was made redundant. We prioritised…

Do they think we are stupid?? Grrrrr....!!
Sorry, I just have to have a little rant!! I really hate the Spam posted on these forums about pyramid schemes and other ridiculous money making scams. Some advice needed
My partner has been off work for some time now with disc problems in his back. I knew he had been spending on his credit card, but he recently informed me that he's hit the limit of around £12,200.
