Do they think we are stupid?? Grrrrr....!!

Sorry, I just have to have a little rant!!

I really hate the Spam posted on these forums about pyramid schemes and other ridiculous money making scams. I really have to bite my tongue and sit on my hands not to respond to them and tell them what I think of them!!! I know it would do no good and only encourage them.

Another new one has appeared today (already reported thanks to Molanole).

I mean, come on, this is Debt Free Wannabe forum, not Brain Free Wannabe - we're here to try and be more financially astute, not to be taken in by idiots who will fleece us for money we don't even have.

Aaaaaggggggghhhhhhh.........
Gggggrrrrrrrrrrr.............
Hmmmmph........

Okay, rant over.......sorry, I think it's me 'ormones! :rotfl:

They spam on a lot of sites and it only takes one or two for them to make their money

The stoopidest thing though is that there's so many people on here that will get it reported straightaway - why do they even waste their time posting???

I know, it just irritates me soooo much (and it doesn't take much to irritate me at the moment as in early stages of pregnancy, so please forgive my little outburst hahaha). Every time I open my email inbox I have people trying to get me to buy shares in companies I've never heard of, and people trying to flog me everything from prescription medication to peni$ extensions (Why would I want one of those.....they only cause trouble :D). But thanks for listening, I feel much better now lol!

Yes - they do think we're stupid.
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

  • But on the other side of the coin they could be people in the same position as us trying to get out of debt!

Without reading this site you would never appreciate the advice and support given! Perhaps the next time you see one you could tell them to post a SOA! ;)

I'm not excusing them and apptreciate some people are just a$$holes! :p

There was a lad on here a few weeks ago asking us to click on his site so he got referral money but he was posing as a young girl who's mother had died of cancer! Anyway we gave him a few short words and he apologised and admitted he was just desperate to earn enough money to buy an XBOX 360. I explained to him that he could earn enough to buy one in no time through matched betting and quidco. He say he was going to register properly. Whether he did or not I don't know!
