right, i've sent my lba to bos to claim back £650 of charges. my first letter asking got a reply stating four weeks, i (foolishly) allowed them this time, at the end of it however i received a letter saying 'sorry i hadn't heard...we'll be in touch', but with no new time frame so i sent my lba, post office screwed up, resent letter last week and they received it on the 20th.
anyways, today i received a letter back form them and i'm not sure whether to start with the court proceedings etc and was hoping one of you wise folks could help. the letter i got says...
'dear miss lynsayjane
i'm sorry for the delay in responding to your complaint.
details of your complaint have been referred to customer relations for a review in accordance with our internal complaints procedure. we're currently investigating the issues you have raised and will write to you again, once we're in a position to provide you with a full response.
thank you for your patience...'
then it gives info on the financial ombudsmen etc etc
now patience is NOT a virtue i was blessed with so do i a) allow them the time to fanny me about and never reply or b) get started on court proceedings after the two week limit i'd set them to reply???
i know it should probably be b, but i guess i'm kinda scared of the court proceedings stuff! help!
anyway cheers for your advice, i'm off to college so i'll check for replies once i'm back xx

As Mirtos says, as soon as the 14 days are up go to moneyclaim! Providing you did tell them they have 14 days to respond?
If you want to give them a kick up the !!!!!! you could send them another one saying you have received their letter but the now only have eg. 7 days before you will start legal proceedings!0 -

I agree with SS and Mirtos... stick to your dates, not the banks.
Wait the 14 days from 20th and then moneyclaim
:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -
never mind 14 days, do the claim now!
They have already messed you about, and also taken your money illegally, why give them any leeway?
At the end of the day you will get your money back, show them that you arent messing about and move on with this
Good luck0
