Can someone confirm something about bailiffs

Options
Does a debt need to go to court before a bailiff can be instructed ?

Does a ccj need to be issued before a bailiff can be instructed or can a court give them permission asap ?

Have you been threatened with, or by, bailiffs without a Court Judgement?

a court has to authorise a bailfiff but it doesn't necessarially mean a CCJ e.g. council tax goes to a magistrates court.
  • IF its a normal creditor ?

needs to be a ccj yeah ?

it needs a summons to court...(which you should attend) and a CCJ. Only if you dont obey the CCJ only can they get an enforcement order (i.e. a bailiff)
