Question about credit score/rating
Can someone offer some advice on my credit rating? I have a £10,000 credit card limit. My credit card always has a balance on it, usually no more than £2,000, so well below the limit. I pay it off in full each month, so don't incur any interest. However, the balance is never '0' because i use my card for all my purchases,…

Better to settle a credit account, or leave open for utilisation?
I've noticed on some credit report summaries, having a settled credit account is considered a positive. And is noted as something that is 'missing' on mine. I've recently used a money transfer card. I'm wondering once that is paid off, should I leave it open to keep my credit utilisation lower.. Or close it?

Excuse me if this has been answered after 2017 (but couldn’t find any newer threads) I want to open a fixed ISA and a savings account using the recommended ones on MSE saving site.
