Incorrect CCJ
Advice please It has only recently come to light that a couple of years ago I was given a parking ticket (not disputed) but all correspondence relating to the ticket was sent to an incorrect address. I live at number 2A but it transpires that the DVLA had incorrectly recorded my address as number 20. There is no number 20…

Credit Report query
Hi All, Asking for a friend and I don't know the answer myself and we can't find an ansqer using search engines. They have an account with a catalogue company and had a £150 credit limit - they have since been told as their credit history has deteriorated for the foreseeable future they cannot utilise the credit limit. The…

Default for £19 - Three/Lowell
Just received a letter from Three saying a sum of £19 has been transferred from them to Lowell debt collection, which has left me a little surprised and angry. I think it's to do with me transferring my mobile number from Three to Vodafone and rather than Three taking out the remaining balance out via Direct Debit as I…

When does a default clear?
I have asked this sort of question before, basic backstory is I had a disputed debt from Jun 2013 that the company reported as unpaid till Feb 2014 when they put it as a default. So does that mean in say March 2020 it will be wiped? Just as it still shows as a negative marker on my file.

Removed from the electoral roll
2 out of 3 CRAs have recorded that I was removed from the electoral roll in December. This is strange as I voted (by postal vote) in December, and have not requested I be removed. How might this have happened? Should I just re register? The issue with that is that is might 'reset' the duration I've been registered for. I…

Update Regularity
I have a personal loan which I have been paying back without fail. Details have been updated up until October, when they stopped. I just wonder whether the lender is contracted to update within a certain time limit following a change (ie a payment) as surely withholding this information is just as detrimental as having a…

Incorrect Questions When Checking Score
Hi all, Not sure if this has happened to anybody else but I was advised to check out my credit score earlier with ClearScore so I went through joining the site and checking off all the questions as to be expected but had a few issues... Some of the questions such as "...records indicate you opened a bank account in 2006,…

Small Claim’s Mediation + CCJ
A claimant has filed a CCJ against my name and I have been sent an N180 to complete by the court. If I go down the small claim’s mediation service route and, in the mediation, can we agree to remove the CCJ as part of my agreement with the claimant? I am not asking for legal advice, but I am asking if it is possible to…

Credit score going DOWN
Hi everyone, Can someone please explain this to me? I'm finally debt free. Can't believe I'd ever be able to say this. Hi, I’m looking for some advice, stupidly in 2016-2017 I took out a number of payday short term loans. I entered a DMP with Step change in January 2018, thankfully I am not in a better place and will be debt free in 2023. After looking at my credit file recently I have noticed a particular company is marking my credit file…
