I have a personal loan which I have been paying back without fail. Details have been updated up until October, when they stopped.
I just wonder whether the lender is contracted to update within a certain time limit following a change (ie a payment) as surely withholding this information is just as detrimental as having a bad marker.
Is it worth me chasing for them to update my files?
Thanks.
Dean

No, it's not a negative marker. No update will be seen as just that.
You can ask them if there is an issue as to their non reporting, but they don't need to.0
