I do not question the default, but it is showing up twice and under 2 different dates. 2012 with the original loan company and now in 2014…

Defaults nearing 6 years-what happens/changes?
Me and my ex husband have numerous outstanding debts. We defaulted on them all almost 6 years ago and have been with CCCS/Stepchange since paying a very minimal amount. What happens once we get to 6 years with our credit file, the debts etc? Are they removed from our credit file? Are we more likely to have them written off…

Does a basic bank account show on a credit file?
As in the title, does a basic account (Barclays Cash Card Account) show up on your credit file? If yes, does almost emptying it each month (less than £10 left by payday) look bad?

Credit card on Experian
Bit of a newbie outside the parking boards - A few more posts are to follow :D , My new years resolution was to sort out my appalling credit file, I got approved for a credit card and I was under the impression that it would look good to run it up (only £500 limit) and clear it in full every month. I went on Experian…

Natwest account default date incorrect
My last withdrawal before dafaulting on my Natwest current account was Dec 2008. I have just read on my Experian report that my default date is Feb 2010. Hi all, For the past year I started to receive debt letters for accounts I had never once opened myself. Debt payback, should it have been updated?
Hello Everyone, I got myself into a bit of trouble with a credit card/phone contract. I made a start on paying this back in 2013. The debts were originally with Aqua (Credit Card) and O2. They were then obviously sold on to 1st Credit (Aqua) and Portfolio Recovery Associates UK Ltd. The payments both started in December…

0% credit card or car finance (Credit Rating)
Hi all, I would like to ask hopefully a simple question for you. I'm looking to buy a second car, there are two options to pay for it a 18month 0% credit card or having car finance. If I went for the credit card option I would setup a standing order equivalent to the car loan each month which would be significantly greater…
