How to get on electrol register for indefinite leave to remain?

If someone wants to improve their ability to get credit and has excellent credit history in the UK but not on the electrol register, is it possible to get on it?
Is there anyone on these forums who knows anything about how to get on for some who is not from the EU, but now has ILR?

I think your first port of call would be to speak to the local authority.

How long have you had ILR now and how long have you been in the UK? You may be able to apply for naturalisation which will make you a British citizen (with the ability to vote).
Conditions and restrictions are detailed here:

about ten yrs now, they dont want to vote, just want to improve credit ability.
So if not able to get on electrol register, what other ways are there to improve,?
Have credit cards with £2500 limit, and perfect history always paying off in full each month.
Does it help to get catolgues and what else helps please?HTB = Help to Bubble.0 -
I speak under correction but I believe the only ways you can end up on the ER is if:
1) You're a British national (or from an overseas territory)
2) You have right of abode or valid leave to enter/stay in the UK and are a national of a Commonwealth state
3) You're an EU national
If none of those options are viable, then you could always add a notice of correction (NOC) to your credit files explaining why there is no ER data to check, although a NOC sometimes cause automated credit checks to fail and flag manual intervention so I'm not sure if it will actually be beneficial to do so.0 -
