late payments
Hi Guys I know that late payments stay on your credit file for 6 years etc but what impact do they have after say a couple of years? I have a few late payment markers on my file. Only '1''s. Providing that I don't accrue any more late payments, what impact will these have on my credit in 2 years time? Thanks WW

Default added two years later.
Hi all, This is more for clarification purposes really as I was wondering if the situation I've found myself in is fair or if the DCA are in the wrong. Basically, a default has recently been added to my file (September 13) for an account that originally defaulted back in 2011. This has only just happened after contacting…

Will my credit score improve from 221?
Hi there I have a credit score of 221 (very poor!), and have been told the reasons why. Firstly is a CCJ and second is a '6 Payments Late' default of £154 on a current account overdraft. I have been told my CCJ will disappear on November 23rd as its been 6 years, and I have just paid off the £154, and the current account…

Why is the CRA scoring system so rubbish?
I have no idea how these idiots think...How can there be no difference between a settled default and an unsettled one? Surely a settled default should give you a few extra points and reduce risk..but no, it makes no difference so it makes more sense just to wait 6 years without paying (if the debt is small enough that…

Incorrect addresses on Experian credit report
So I finally managed to get my statutory report from Experian. I was recently declined a mortgage at the credit check stage - everything looks perfect in terms of no missed payments, etc. However, it has a number of incorrect addresses on it.
