Personal Loan 7 day cooling off

Hi,

Just wondering where I would stand on the basis of a personal loan where the first payment was made before 7 days had passed from recieving the loan.

This is a provident loan. The person who has it had to make a payment immediately upon getting the loan.

What is the standing on this?

Comments

  • If they decided they didn't want the loan, then they would just pay the remaining balance.

Does the loan agreement state that there is a 7 day cooling off period?
A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give
or "It costs nowt to be nice"
  • Agreement does state that he was a 7 day cooling off peroid.

Agent asked to waive this and post date it.

Payment for the first week had to be given immeditely so that the loan could be given
