In debt and new to renting
I am currently in debt (owe approximately 75% of my annual salary on 0% credit cards) but do have 1/2 my annual salary in savings. My question is would I pass a credit check with a letting agent or would they see this debt (I have never missed a payment in my life). If not then I guess my only alternative would be to wait…

Is it risky to have bank accounts etc delivered at a shared house?
Hello everyone, I've recently taken a job down south, after living with my girlfriend for the past 10 years. We're both living in house shares to save money, until my GF finds a job down south in the next 4-6 months, at which point we'll get a flat together. In the meantime, I've got our mail redirected to my parent's…

No credit record at all
Hi, Hopefully someone can give me some advice. My boyfriend recently applied for his first credit card and got rejected (he's 22) I figured it was because he doesn't have much credit history. Botched balance transfer leading to defaults
Hi everyone, I've recently sorted out a bit of a mess with a balance transfer which was meant to have happened in January with Nationwide taking on the balance of my MBNA card. To cut a long story short, it didn't happen properly and oblivious to it all, I missed 5 CC payments before it was sorted. No doubt this will have…

I have put a copy of the transcript I sent to Equifax and Orange to dispute my 4 x late payment marks - which has turned an excellent credit report into a poor one. Hi I've had two experiences of being turned down for credit and I'm not sure why. I'm 22 and for the past two years the only payments I've had are my contract phone and student loan repayment.
