default removal

Does anyone have the correct address to write a letter to Natwest customer services (current account department) or the data controller as I need to try and get a default removed.
I had an account with them between 2008 & 2009 but got into some financial difficulty in March 2009. An arrangement to pay was agreed on a default amount of £463 but I missed the last payment and a default was registered in August 2009. Account was settled the following month.
My girlfriend and I are now having trouble getting a mortgage as a result of the default and it's really starting to get us down. I know the bank are under no obligation to remove but it was a small sum whilst I was going through financial difficulty. My credit rating has improved significantly since then and continues to improve but the default still hangs over me.
Can anyone help please?
Thanks

Sorry no address. You googled it?
I would have thought a mortgage with an arrangement to pay is also unlikely even if they remove the default.:beer:0 -

Would defeat the entire purpose of collecting data for assessing risk if people were allowed to rewrite their history.
Focus on building a larger deposit (or borrowing less) as more than likely it's a combination of factors that are scoring against you.0
