Card surcharge - cashless society?
Just been to the shops and wanted to pay for something for £2.50 with a debit card (note-not credit). I was informed there was a 50p charge for purchases under £5 for all card transactions. Is this right? I thought debit didn't attract a charge? Given we are being told to ditch cash for cards is this a sign that the…

Charges more the minimum payment - can they do that?
My fella spent over over his credit limit so he has around £1300 on a card where the limit was £1200 Each month they charge him £22 interest and £12 for being over the limit, so the total charges are £34. The minimum payment (paid by direct debit) is £30, so he'll never repay it!! Now I know he's daft for not paying more…

Which 0% credit card now?
Just noticed my 0% Barclaycard has ran out and I've been charged interest for the first time, so time to move to something else and do a balance transfer. It can't be with halifax, as I already have a credit card with them (it's not 0% anymore either so has nothing on it). Which is the next best? Or is it possible if I…

claiming on credit card for stolen goods
This is my first post, so sorry if it's in the wrong place. Can anyone tell me if I'm right in thinking that if goods purchased on a credit card are stolen within 90 of purchase, then you can claim against your card. The item in question was £180.

Late charges for missing "payment window" with Natwest CC
Hi all, I'm new here. Last year I spotted four late payment charges on my Natwest credit card statement despite paying my credit card on payday as I always have.
