Annual Credit Card Statements

Does anyone know if credit card providers have to send out annual credit card statements or is it optional?

Is the balance clear? If not i think you should get at least one a year.

Yes there is always a balance on it. I always get one from my Barclaycard but am still waiting for one on my tesco credit card which i took out in 2012.

Just wanted to check before I give them a ring to ask for it. I quite like having my Barclaycard one and would like Tesco to send me the same if they can.

Tesco Bank will send one out on the anniversary of when you opened your account

Yes i get a barclaycard one every year on the anniversary of when i took it out. But not Tescobank, which i took out in 2012. Will give them a ring and ask why they arent sending me them. :-)
