Barclaycard Balance Transfer

Good evening, applied for the above card and the automated response informed me I had been been approved. I then received a message informing me that the site was having technical problems and that they would be in touch within 5 days. Does this mean that I have not been accepted. Many thanks

I got the same thing last week, card arrived in the post 2 days later. Don't worry!

Thanks for that, they took details of the transfers etc. and asked for passwords so fingers crossed.

My Barclaycard Platinum balance transfer card was instantly approved online, but it was still reviewed by a underwriter for further checks.
I was approved still after being assessed.

I also assumed if you get an instant acceptance decision, then you would definitely get the card, but this is not always the case.
Many people on this forum have gotten acceptance for Barclaycard, even after receiving the card, Barclaycard have then revoked their decision and closed the account within a week after further checks.

If you haven't got any nasties on your credit files then I'm sure you'll get the card.

Thanks for that, no credit rating problems so should be okay I just thought it strange that after acceptance the website indicated technical problems.
