NatWest Mastercard application
I applied for this card online last Tuesday (2nd), trying to take advantage of the 20 months 0% balance transfer offer. I've not heard anything yet. Does anyone know how long they usually take to respond? Also does anyone know what sort of limits they give out? I've got a strong credit history, and most 'starting' limits…

Credit Card fraud and refund queries
Ok so I'm just looking for some advice on what to do here, so here goes; In September 2007 I opened up a student bank account, got a student credit card and then thought nothing of it. The first and only time, to my knowledge, that it was used was once on the 15th October. Now fast forward to today, after several years of…

Use 0% Credit Cards to Overpay Mortgage
I wanted to sense check this idea. All hypothetical at this stage but I am thinking of it. If you borrow £3000 on a Credit Card with say 0% for 12 months, then use the £3000 to overpay on your mortgage, you would benefit from immediate benefits from the mortgage interests? Meanwhile, the £250 per month that is supposed to…

Confidence issue re switching to 0% credit cards
I'm not yet panicking but.... I know that switching to a 0% card from one on which I am paying interest would be a good idea. My problem is that I'm not sure that anyone will give me a 0% card (I obtained the one I've got when I was better off than I am now!) and I fall at the first hurdle, since I always assume the worst…

Hi, I currently have one credit card which I only use for business expenses.
