Correcting credit card statements

Hi there,

After two rather frought conversations with the call centre staff at Barclaycard regarding the allocation of payments to my account, I have been told that the statement I recieved yesterday with the incorrect balances will be corrected and resent.

A little background, I had £145.26 remaining from £275.26 purchase following a £130 D/D from my previous October statement in addition to to a £2029.88 balance transfer balance (0%). In November I paid off £215.04 (£130 + some spare cash) but the balance transfer balance was reduced by this amount to 1814.84 leaving the £145.26 purchase balance (although this number was not written down on the statement). I inferred the purchase balance by subtracting the B/T balance from the total balance and got low and behold £145.26.

At first the girl told me that I had to wait for December's statement but I pressed that the payment had been made to the wrong balance and that a purchase balance should not exist anymore and hence November's statement was incorrect. After being on hold for 10 minutes she came back and told me that my statement hadn't been issued (which it had) but then said that the online statement would be corrected in 3-4 working days.

Have any Barclaycard or other credit card customers come across having their online statements fixed?
What action should I take if the statement is not correct this time next week?
Will I be getting charged interest on the purchase balance all the time this balance is incorrect?
Is it possible to be asked to be transferred to a UK call centre? I don't think the girl, as nice as she was, really understood what I was asking.
