PPI claim form re arrears question?

HI everyone first post on the site so apologies if I am repeating previous questions. But. filling out the credit card PPI form and there is a question that asks have you ever been in arrears ...had the card since 1996 so to tell the truth have no idea ...the options are either YES or NO ..
so am I better off saying YES possibly but all is resolved, or NO but not 100% sure and will either answer affect my outcome? thanks x

PPI form from a Company or are you doing it yourself? If you are using a company – don’t. You can do it yourself easily for free. The reason it asks about arrears is because if the account was in arrears any PPI award would come off the arrears rather than being paid to you. Some companies do not like these clients’ as they can’t get the money back so turn them into debt clients. The question is, did you every miss payments on the credit product and do you still owe the credit product money even if this is with a debt collection company?
