NatWest Mastercard application

in Credit cards
I applied for this card online last Tuesday (2nd), trying to take advantage of the 20 months 0% balance transfer offer.
I've not heard anything yet. Does anyone know how long they usually take to respond?
Also does anyone know what sort of limits they give out? I've got a strong credit history, and most 'starting' limits I've had on other cards have been around the 3000 quid mark, or even higher.
Interestingly in the application process, they don't ask about other credit commitments, etc., but they do ask how many other cards you hold. Strange.... isn't the number of cards I hold, something that they can discover in about 20 seconds from a credit search?

I received something through the post about 1 week and a half after - I even called them. If you want to check the status, you can call there hotline.0

During the application process, I requested a 2k transfer from my MBNA Amex card, which for the last few months has been racking up at 16.9%
Funnily enough, I just checked my MBNA Amex account online about five minutes ago, and 2k has just been transferred out today. I can only assume this means I've been approved for limit of at least £2300, so a result at least.
I had been feeling a bit dicey as I had one late payment recently (very expensive mistake), but all's well that ends well...!0 -
When I applied online I was given my interest rate and limit there and then, also signed for it electronically. That was only last month, however I've been a Natwest customer for years.0
