rebuild my credit

hi thru fault of my own over the years i have damaged my credit quite badly, now am alot older and wiser i am looking to slowy pay off debts and rebuild my credit i was wondering if there was a credit card that would help to do this as my credit score is quite low or would it be best just to stick with paying off what i owe then my credit would go up
thanks :j

  • Pay off the remaining debts, then look in to applying for one of those cards. It's unlikely you'd be accepted whilst you still have the debts. Good luck

You can still get cards with debt o/s, even defaults. What do you have on file?
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
