Applying for a card for BT
can you specify you want to balance transfer only or that's the purpose of it. My theory is a BT shows I am not planning to spend more - just clear my debts - and that as I'm already paying the mim payments I'm not suddenly finding more money to pay them. Just a thought.

Disgraceful behaviour by MBNA
When MBNA reject credit card applications because your income is too low they send you an invitation to apply for a Vanquis Bank credit card which has 39.9% APR, which is disgraceful they assume you'll run up more debt and can't get a good rate card so exploit the fact.
