Anyone charged yet for having 'dormant' store card?

Hi,
Just wondering: has anyone ever been charged yet, simply for having a 'dormant' store card (i.e. with no outsanding debt)?
I've just received standard literature from Santander on their revised terms and conditions, and noticed this information for cards such as Laura Ashley etc. [The Laura Ashley card was previously administered by GE Capital].
Thanks

I really don't see the issue. If you use your card on even a semi-regular basis you have nothing to worry about. If you haven't used it once in 6 months then you really have to question why you have the card in my opinion.0

I had a Debenhams store card and never used it apart from the first time and paid it off in full, they cancelled it themselves around 12/18 months later. I got a letter telling me they were cancelling because of inactivity. No charges though!Credit Card: £796 Left/£900 October 2011 :eek:Store Card: £100 October 2011

I have just had new terms and conditions through for a couple of my santander cards which state a £10 dormancy fee. How do I close the accounts so this isn't applied after six months?0
