In a nutshell I have had a couple of credit cards that I managed to get cleared to fairly small balances. I then became unemploed and couldn't clear. The charges started piling on and then the debt was sold to a 3rd party. They are now chasing for very hefty amounts, all relating to charges. Having read about reclaiming…

Hoping I can get a bit of advice on how to proceed with this. I am currently paying off my credit card balance to HSBC. I'm on long-term sickness benefits, so my monthly funds aren't huge. The card itself has been cancelled, so I can't make any outgoing payments with it (there haven't been any for well over a year now),…

Currys/Egg Card Fraud
I got an automated message from Egg a few days ago to confirm a purchase that had been made on my card. I hadn't made the purchase so got in touch with them. Today I receive a Sales Receipt from Currys with the Delivery Address of where the item has been sent. Should I contact Egg or the Police with this information?
