Claiming back PPI

Hi,

I am just looking into trying to claim back my PPI from Alliance & Leicester Credit Card (MBNA) and Capital One and am just about to send them a letter asking them for a comprehensive list of insurance charges added to my account. Do I have to wait for this information to come back before I send them the letter telling them that I was mis-sold the policies and I want to claim the money back? or can I send them at the same time?

I know I was mis-sold the policies, but wasn't sure if I would just confuse the situation if I sent them both in at the same time (didn't really want to wait another 40 days).

Any help anyone can give would be appreciated.

Thanks
