I want to purchase £500 worth of euros from my local post-office. I want to use my egg money card for my purchase. Egg CS gave me a confusing answer. Will I be charged cash advance fees or any other fees for this transaction. How about interest, if I go in negative balance.I pay the balance in full every month.

M&S Chargecard and the missing foreign exchange

Credit Card Costs to companies
Hi, does anyone know how much companies like Mastercard and Visa charge businesses for transactions we make using their cards? I know these businesses then pass the on to charges onto the consumer- but I have just been charged £7.96 for one Mastercard transaction, which seems more than a little excessive. Thanks!

I think - or perhaps that should be thought - I'm pretty clued up on saving money and have been 'tarting' for years - long before most people I know started to do it.
