in Credit cards
i have £1800 on my mbna card but the 0% has ended and ive sent of for a credit check and all looks ok.debts have either been payed or i havent missed a payment yet but upon applying for a new card with natwest i got turned down and again when i tried with rbs.before i try anymore i was wondering if my best bet would be to split the debt in half and make 2 seperate applications.any help would be appreciated.thanks

Remember that Natwest and RBS are the same company, so refusal in one probably ensured refusal in the other.Dave. :wave:0

It's hard to advise as we can't tell why RBS/NatWest refused you.
Obviously, another application with another lender will cause another credit check, but who's to say you won't get the next one.Dave. :wave:0
