Alliance and Leicester
can anyone who has done a BT on their credit card tell me if they were charged a fee? i know they say they will charge 2% but in my experience some companies don't take it. (virgin being one) also if they will take it, my limit is £2500 so it will be the £50 max so will it be worth it for 9 months?

what looks better
I have a credit card that has a limit of £7750 and a balance of £4000. Which would look better when applying for a lower interest rate card, if I left it how it was or decreased the credit limit? If decreasing should I decrease it right down to £4000 or would that look bad? Any advice?

AMEX Nectar Card
I have applied for the Amex nectar card about a week ago. This morning I received my PIN - presumably the card will follow. But my question is this: if I receive 4 points for every £1.00 of spending ( admittedly from Nectar sponsers), this would mean that I need only spend £125.00 to gain 500 points for which I'll receive…
