When you transfer balances to Virgin's interest-free for 9 months card, they hit you with a fee for each one, up to a max of £50,adding up to effectively quite a bit of interest!

If you have real debts 2.25% for 9 months is a very good deal.
If you are stoozing (i.e. making money from credit cards) you need just some caution and research. The information about BT fee is not hidden and is shown explicitly before you even start your application: Continue with your application for the balance transfer card . Pretty much all credit cards do this nowadays!

just max it out straight away with one transfer & then its still a saving.
