HSBC shambles
After eventually receiving my card and pin and successfully making a balance transfer, I tried several times unsuccessfully to find out how to pay other than by Direct Debit, to no avail. Eventually I decided I may as well go down the DD path so duly filled in the form with my bank details, signed it and sent it back to…

Barclaycard Call Centre - Help please
OK...in a nutshell, Barclaycard recently messed up a Balance Transfer and ended up placing a charge on the card, which I hadn't been advised about. After asking Barclaycard to listen to the voice recording, they agreed that I hadn't been informed of the charge and I was told that the charge would be refunded and would…

Mint cheques
Can anybody confirm whether or not I'll be automatically sent new Mint cheques when I've used my first 4? I'm not sure I should ask for more because a quick look at my account should tell them I'm stoozing but if cheques are sent without human involvement then its my lucky day. I've got free cheques until 9/06 but have now…

Balance Transfer - Can I un-do it?
 Good afternoon all. I've just opened up a new 0% deal. When I applied 2 weeks ago, I asked for 2 balance transfers to repay other 0% Cards. However I realised, that it would be highly unlikely that the transfer would be through on time, so with the interest free period due up tomorrow, I paid the balances in…

0% BT & purchase card question
I have Coop card that I have used to make 0% BTs. The 0% promotion ends on 1st April. Let's assume I clear the full balance, say a week before this date. If I then make a purchase on the empty card before 1st April, do I have to clear the balance again by 1st April to avoid interest charges, or is it still OK to settle in…

Cancelled CC and recurring payments
I cancelled a credit card with Lloyds TSB assuming that an annual payment to the AA would also cancel as I didn't need it any more. Imagine my surprise when a credit card statement came with an amount owing to the AA. I rang up the call centre who told me that if there was a recurring payment on a credit card it could be…

End of 0% rate with Sainsbury's
A bit premature I know, but my intro rate ends on 05/05/06 (according to my statement). Will this mean I will get charged interest on the May Statement (prob dated 06/05) or will it start from the June statement if not fully cleared? Also, I've a couple of cards to cancel - Barclaycard and Skycard. What deals have people…

Direct Debits or regular payments from a Credit Card?
Hi all, Just a quick question about Credit Cards. Is it possible to set up a Direct Debit to a Credit Card or something similar. If so, this would be an ideal when used in conjunction with a good cashback card. If not, is there any way to make regular payments from a credit card without actualy having to do it in person?…
