End of 0% rate with Sainsbury's

A bit premature I know, but my intro rate ends on 05/05/06 (according to my statement). Will this mean I will get charged interest on the May Statement (prob dated 06/05) or will it start from the June statement if not fully cleared?

Also, I've a couple of cards to cancel - Barclaycard and Skycard. What deals have people been getting with these to try and make them stay. I've had my Barclaycard for about 15 years.

Cheers,

Andy.

No - if your intro rate ends on 05/05/06 - then you will be charged interest from that date.

They won't wait for your statement to start charging you - although they will wait to apply the interest charge.

  • It means that if you have not paid off in full by 05/05/06 then you will start getting charged interest from that date but you will probably not see it itemised until June.
