Amex Green To Platinum Upgrade.

Have an Amex Green Charge card as well as an Amex Platinum Credit Card. Been offered an upgrade from Green to Platinum Charge Card - Is the extra annual charge worth it? or should I stick to the Green?

Surely you just have to ask yourself if you'd use the features:

If you'd use that ProrityPass membership a lot (and I mean more than 16 times a year) - it MIGHT be worth it for that alone assuming you don't travel business class a lot.

Personally - I don't think the charge cards have ever offered me anything that could tempt me into paying a fee - simply because I wouldn't use it.

So - because there's no APRs or BTs to talk about here - I think the only person who can make the choice as to whether it's 'worth it' - is you.

Basically the charge for Plat is £275. It has many benefits, whether they are a benefit to you and can justify the cost, is reall up to you.
