If a group decide to fundraise for a charity (their choice and not organised by that charity) can they legally deduct large expenses from that sponsorship money and do they have a legal obligation to inform those who sponsor them?

Hi, does anyone know of a charity that could make use of baby feeding bottles (new, boxed,) steriliser, bottle warmer, stairgates etc. this is assuming charity shops dont take electricals? would like to donate somewhere that could make use of it- thinking maybe women's shelters or something, I dont know? any suggestions?
