Santander Match donations for the HMSA in Wheelchair Challenge - Please Donate

This week May (16-22th May) Laura Westcott, a Journalist from the Times is taking part in a Wheelchair Challenge which involves her being confined to a Wheelchair for an entire week. She is doing this to raise money to buy a Electric Wheelchair for her friend Clare Holmes who has Hypermobility Syndrome also known as Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. It is an incurable genetic condition that attacks the collegen in her joints.

Laura Westcott has now raised the £3,000 needed for the Wheelchair. Santander Bank are going to match all further funds raised (beyond £3,000) to the HMSA charity. Therefore for every £1 of sponsorship she gets until tonight the Hypermobility Syndrome Association will get £2.25 inc. gift aid.

There will be a feature on Laura's Wheelchair Challenge in the Times this Saturday in the Weekend section. This will be great at helping to raise national awareness of this hidden condition.
