Please help my son raise money for Sands

Hi all
I hope I'm doing this correctly, as I know the rules on the charities board are (rightly) very strict and I haven't posted before.
I would be very grateful if anyone feels they could sponsor my son who is having his head shaved on June 18th to raise money for Sands, the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity.
He has beautiful thick hair down to his waist (you can see the pics here and here) and following the loss of his unborn child at 21 weeks decided he would sacrifice it to raise money for the charity as they are doing such important work helping people like him and his girlfriend, and researching ways to prevent such tragedies.
If anybody feels able to help, and every penny counts, please visit his Just Giving page.
If you would like to know about his particular case you can read about it here. I was so devastated that I posted my grief on this site (which isn't really like me) and the replies were amazing.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and double thanks if you are able to donate even the tiniest amount.

Just wanted to say a big Thank You to the kind person who has made a donation of £2.50 today. You are wrong to say it's not much - it's appreciated more than you know. Many many thanks.

Some more MSEers have made donations! Thank you all so much, I knew you wouldn't let me down. You are a brilliant bunch!
Artytarty, yes, his hair has proved to have great pulling power over the years - I think that's why he's kept it long if I'm honest! But now he is settled with his lovely GF that's not an issue, and she has agreed to the shave on condition that he grows it again.
An yes, I am VERY proud of both of them, not least for the way they have dealt with their loss.Oh dear, here we go again.0 -
Hello again.
It's been a frantic week so I thought you might like an update.
Firstly, thank you to everybody who has made a donation. Every single penny is very much appreciated, and from some of the messages I've had it sounds as if we are not alone in our experiences. Hugs to all who have been through it.
I know you wanted to see the after photos, so here they are.

How fantastic, think the short hair suits him just as much. Was the hair used for anything as well? Just wondering.
Good luck with the fundraising0 -
There are a couple of charities that ask for hair to make wigs for chemo patients so that's a possibility, or he's thinking about an ebay charity auction. Not sure yet, but it will definitely be used to do some good.Oh dear, here we go again.0

The other news is a happy ending - they had a beautiful healthy baby boy yesterday.
Many thanks for everybody who donated or just sent good wishes, you are fantastic!Oh dear, here we go again.0
