First Direct holds
I was just wondering whether any other FD customers who have called since the start of 2018 have noticed a significant increase in the time it takes to get connected to someone? Almost every single time I called them in 2017, it would be instant, however every time I have called FD this year, there has been a wait of at…

Paying Credit Card by multiple DD?
Is it possible to set up more than one DD from two different banks, to pay off a Credit Card monthly in full? Example: Bank 1 pays a constant £5pm by DD, then Bank 2 pays remainder pm by DD. I'm assuming I will always have a monthly CC bill greater than £5. Any one already doing this? TIA

IBAN/SWIFTBIC changes
Has anybody else noticed either their IBAN or SWIFTBIC for any of their accounts being changed recently? I ask this as the SWIFTBIC for one of my accounts changed from BARCGB22 to BUKGB22. There appears to be no announcements anywhere regarding this. Is this part of the whole ring-fencing malarkey that banks have going on…

In the case of a bank account that was opened for me in my mother's name when I was a child, and later converted into a normal savings account, but still says "[Mother's Name] RE [My name]" on the statements, who does this bank account legally belong to? Just to…
