Switching Banks:
I'm considering switching banks for an incentive. However the bank I'm switching from has my 2 christian initials, and the the one I'm switching to has only my 1 christian initial. Is it likely to be declined?

Norwich & Peterborough BS Closure
Hi, Has anyone had any official contact from N&P yet over the closure of their current accounts? I popped into the branch today, as I was passing, and they've pretty much been left in the dark by YBS too. Although they were as usual excellent and professional, even knowing they're out of work now. I'm just wondering what…

Student Account - under 18
A nephew is starting Uni this autumn. He has an unconditional offer and was looking to get started on getting things organised - starting with a student account. However, all the accounts seem to insist on being 18 but his 18th is not until 29th August - just days before he will have to sign his tenancy agreement for Halls…

Gave employer the wrong account details - unpaid for this month
Hi, I started work at a new company, and provided them with the wrong account details (ie: I mistyped my account number). As such, my monthly salary has been credited to someone else's account (my fault, not HR's) HR in fairness have been quite helpful and they have contacted the "other bank" ie: my own bank and own…

Out-of-the-blue debt management letter
My wife has received a letter from the bank demanding payment on a student bank account which she thought she had paid off and closed five years ago. Although she banks with them still, the account hasn't shown in her online banking and she hasn't had any letters or statements from them in that time. We are suddenly now…

NatWest App
Does anybody know if you can hide MyRewards from the NatWest mobile banking app? Is there an option somewhere in the settings where you can choose whether to display this or not? I'm aware this is an obscure question and you'll probably ask 'what's the point' - but if anybody has an answer, it would be much appreciated.…

Barclays account "under review"
Good morning! I know this theme has already been talked about extensively on this forum, but please bear with me. On the 6th of December I tried to…

Switching Accounts
Whilst reading the article about the best incentives to switch bank accounts i thought i would look at what RBS was offering as i have been with them for about 8 years. I discovered the rewards account which is £3 a month and pays 3% cashback on household bills coming off by direct debit. My current spending, according to…

Switching from N&P
I have a current account with N&P which are going to be closing down. They do not belong to the switching scheme so does this mean I am not entitled to any cashback for joining a new bank such as TSB or Halifax. Their terms seem to say to me that you have to use the switching service to get the cashback. Thanks.

Amending 'nickname' on Tesco savers
Earlier in the month I set up a DD to my Internet Saver Account. I already had one go out to my Instant Access Account but set up the other as a backup in case I couldn't get a DD to Paypal. We are advised on these boards that the nickname has to be different, so I amended it slightly. Today, whilst making a final check…
