Switching Banks:

I'm considering switching banks for an incentive. However the bank I'm switching from has my 2 christian initials, and the the one I'm switching to has only my 1 christian initial. Is it likely to be declined?

Probably. If the details on both accounts don't match, it can and probably will be kicked out as part of the security checks.urs sinserly,

Is there any reason why the two banks hold different details?I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.0

No, it's not likely. They are fussy over address and DoB matching, as well as surname.
You should, however, check with your bank.0 -
I'm a bit confused, why does the bank you're switching to have your details already? Surely if you already have a relationship with them you can't get a switching bonus?Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

I think the Op is saying he's only put one initial on his application to switch, but his current bank holds two.I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.0

Because you have to open an account first before you can switch to it.urs sinserly,

Do you mean "Forename Initials"?
Maybe or maybe not. Depends on the bank you're switching to. Why don't you ask them? Usually the account name has to match.0
