Hello,
I have had a good look around the site but cant find what I'm looking for so I'm hoping someone here may be able to help me (and I hope I've picked the right forum section!)

I am looking for an iphone app or a downloadable excel based tool that I can use to track and analyse my finances. It does not have to be free if it represents good value for money.

I do not need an advance budget function I just want to analyse what I have spent on what in 2016 and then track it in 2017 as I spend it or at the end of the month to have a better grip and understanding on what I am spending my money on

Obviously if I have missed where to go on the site to get this information directions would be appreciated :)

thanks for your help

hi LILYDAVIES to what degree to you want to analyse. Do you want to add every item you buy and categorise that or are you looking more generally eg a shop at Aldi (other supermarkets may be cheaper for some items) would be under groceries? It is easy enough to set up your own spread sheet to track how you want it to track. You just need to decide how much detail you want.

    Do you have Excel 2010?
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.

Yes I have excel but I'd prefer an iPhone app if possible as I think more chance I'll keep it up.
I've been looking at one called TOSHL
