Refused a bank account due to association
Hi all, not sure this is the right forum so feel free to move it to the correct one. Was refused a bank account the weekend and the main reason other than my various payment plans set up with my creditors was an association with various people. Now I had a bank account with my ex back in 2007 which as far as Im aware is no…

Another Wonga Victim
Think i qualify for the most taken from my bank account yet £5000 over 48 hours, 16 transactions, apparently my bank did not notice this :( It's all been refunded, but was made more unpleasant by the fact the criminal(s) paid some money back in, thus making it look like I had a relationship with Wonga. To those puzzled…

Which is the best bank account for me?
I am with Santander......I have a 23k savings.....I have been getting 3.05% for the past year, the account has now dropped to 0.50%. The next version of the Santander account I had is only offering 1.50%. This is awful. Instead of receiving £50 a month in interest I would have to accept £25, which is not good enough. I…

Bank of Scotland Cash Account
Does anyone know if the BoS Cash Account allows access to Halifax branches in England, as their old Easycash Account cards (Electron - I know that fact is irrelevant) did, as they did not work in Halifax's IDMs Thanks And out of the HBoS group, is the LloydsTSB the best option?

Don't know if anyone can give advice on a stolen cheque
I am just wondering if someone can possibly shine some light on a problem my Dad is having at the moment. Saving with Friend
Hi - my first post, so bear with me :) My friend and I want to save up to start a business together (2-3 years down the line) and have been looking at how to put the money away. We're both fairly bad for spending what's in our accounts so I've been looking at a prepaid card account, then cutting the card up and making…
