Paying Partners Direct Debit & Credit Histories

Afternoon All,
We have just taken out a mobile phone contract in my partners name as she had a DRO 3 years ago and want to help build up her credit history.
I would like the Direct Debit to come out my account as all the others do but would this then link our credit histories?
Mine is pretty squeaky clean and am the mortgage holder so do not want to risk linking the histories for if i go to remortgage
Sorry if this is the wrong forum but couldn't think which this bests fits and as it's DD i thought maybe 'Bank Accounts'
Thank you all in advance

I think it will financially link you. Does your partner have a bank account at all at the moment? If so could you transfer the money to it the day before the DD comes out, or would that cause problems with the DRO?0

Only joint credit accounts (e.g. mortgage, credit account) create a link.
Paying bills by a DD doesn't.0 -
She has a bank account which was used at the time of the application and at the moment the DD is set to go out of her account but it would mean transferring the money into her account and making sure it stayed in there until the DD came out
Shes is 3yrs discharged so DRO is all finished and she is completely free to do anything financially0
