What's the best way of increasing my overdraft limit?
I've had a current account since July last year and even though I get my main benefits [DLA due to my Grand Mal Epilepsy] and JSA paid into it, I still only have a overdraft of £100 even though I have over £500 paid into my account per month [and when I sold items through eBay last year, I had slightly more]. Things went…

Change date of a direct debit - not allowed?!
I've been changing my direct debit dates to the 1st of the month in order to try to become a bit more stable financially. This hasn't been a problem until I just phoned BUPA who told me that my date was set and that I could only change it by cancelling my policy then opening a new one and "be viewed as a new customer". I…

We left enough money in the account for our new direct debit (pet ins) and forgot all about 2 paypal payments, thus it took us overdrawn by £4.38. I decided to check…

Does this apply to each account? i.e. can I take out £250 from one and £250 for another..? Is this £250 related to cash withdrawals only? i.e. can I buy something for £250.01 from a shop using the debit…

My concerns are: losing the least amount of money in the transaction, obviously, and making it easy for them…
